I started my career as a Carpenter and did this for around 10 years. I made the transition from building to running 'Work for the Dole" projects, teaching basic carpentry skills to the unemployed trying to motivate them back into the workforce. This is where I developed my passion for training others. The results were few and so I discovered "Group Training" and realised that this was a great way to encourage employers to take on apprentices and Trainees. It is a great concept that is very unknown to many employers so I aim to spread the word as much as possible and coach kids into gainful employment 'before' they make the dole queue!Specialties: Being one of the first GTO's in the business, NovaSkill have over 25 years experience in the training and Management of apprentices.
