Producing detailed programme / schedule of work and all documentation for distribution to the team and the principle contractor, coordinating the design team and implementing the design.

 Approved contractor to Dimension Data Advanced Infrastructure. Site Manager implementing PRINCE2 with SMSTS (site manager's health and safety).  Organising and running multiple projects, multi thousand points and million pound projects. Maintaining work efficiency with minimal labor, working to deadlines and ordering to budget.  Design and planning of containment and correcting design issues. Managing teams of electrical engineers, data and fiber engineers and telecommunication operatives. Problem solving such as over length routes and diverse routing. Making sure the workforce and site complied with health and safety CDM regulations 2007.

Site manager with Dimension Data Advance and my duties included managing a team of electrical engineers on first and second fix’s containment, this included correcting design issues, ordering to within a budget but maintaining work efficiency, I also designed all second fix containment and installed the cabinets. Other duties were to manage the cabling, terminating and testing of 3000 points, running and terminating fibre between three hub rooms, problem solving such as over length routes, organising optimum efficiency to keep to deadlines and budget whilst maintaining strict health and safety, making sure the workforce and site complied with CDM regulations 2007.

Line management of teams of supervisors and engineers, prioritising work to be completed as efficient as possible.Complex and high quality installs of fibre optics, copper cabling, voice solutions, network equipment, wireless access solutions, smart boards and projectors.Extracting information from drawings, surveying containment routes and instructing teams to complete the work with work packages.Fault finding and problem solving, using technical equipment to resolve challenging situations.Being security cleared to work on the Airport airside and working within a sometimes demanding environment (Army security clearance was at DV level but this has now expired).Working to strict deadlines and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest industry standard.Ensuring that all teams adhere to health and safety, report any unsafe behaviours and give training where needed.Compile reports to senior management on completed work and updating final drawings for archive.

Undertaking a wide variety of duties, this included training and retraining troops for operational tours to be carrying out overseas and in the UK. As a warrior tank driver and commander which involved processing technical data and responding to difficult situations, operating communications equipment and adhering to strict health and safety guidelines and procedures.
