Working with staff and volunteers across our amazing Crisis and Emergency Response teams on (mostly) tactical and operation improvements, allowing the BAU teams to focus on supporting people in crisis. Accountable for complete training pathway for British Red Cross volunteers supporting in the NHS Covid-19 mass vaccination sites. Achieved over 850 fully trained volunteers within 5 months, using our absolutely fantastic volunteer tutors to deliver this, and making best use of our corporate partners to keep operational costs to a minimum.

Leading a small, dedicated and highly skilled team to attract, recruit, onboard and advocate for volunteers coming in to our Refugee Support, Restoring Family Links, Anti-trafficking service.Shortly after starting this role I was asked to take in the Vaccination Training Lead role

Responsible for strategic and operational planning and delivery of volunteer support, welfare, retention and transition during a significantly challenging period of change - closing a service with over 2600 volunteers.

Leading a team of geographically dispersed first aid trainers, delivering life-saving skills to the public and workplace first aiders.
