My role as Customer Supply Chain Controller, is to liaise between Retail Multiples (mainly Sainsbury’s) and my Company addressing day to day supply issues, whilst placing surplus stock. I have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate with the customer on day to day issues, long term category plans, and am able to think on my feet. I have proven analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals and large groups. I have worked away from my Company site, working extensively at the customers’ Head Office, so self motivation and discression have been an essential part of my day to day working life. My latest role has incorporated Identifying and Delivering Cost improvements.
