Martyn is a Mechanical Engineering Senior Associate, who has specific expertise in mechanical design and project management, but has additional experience in property based consultancy such as dilapidations assessments and investment appraisals and survey work. Martyn undertook an apprenticeship and ONC with HOW Engineering, who were M&E and public health services contractors in 1986 where he was responsible for draughting and design work for building services including work on site. Martyn then joined a GW consulting (formally Geoffrey Wilkinson Ltd) building services consultancy in 1989 and continued his education with a HND at Newcastle Polytechnic on a 2 year part-time basis, and then a degree in Building Services on a day release course at the University of Hertfordshire. In 1996 Martyn joined Arup where he worked for 4 years before joining CBRE where he worked for a further 6 ½ years leading the mechanical section of the building services team. Martyn joined Cundall in August 2006 as an Associate, and was promoted to Senior Associate in January 2008.Martyn has worked in the majority of sectors, covering Workplace, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Law and Order, Lifestyle, Residential and Retail.The majority of Martyns work has been in the United Kingdom, but has carried out many projects overseas as well.
