I am a 2nd Grade teacher and a Master's student at the Marian University. I work in a inner-city school with 70% Latino population. I work with children of diverse backgrounds. My students have various needs and I concentrate on differentiation to ensure targeted instruction for all of my students. My school follows a unique blended learning model, which ensures that every student's needs are met.

I serve as a member of Teach for America. Through the organization I am able to serve high-need students in an inner city school. I receive continuos professional development focusing on the best practices in the classroom, culturally responsive teaching and social equity.

I worked as a classroom assistant in 3rd and 5th grade. I was assigned as a SEN assistant and worked to ensure I met my students' needs daily.

I worked as a customer service advisor at a gas company in England. I examined difficult daily queries and ensured that my customers were happy and satisfied with the service received.

I worked in year one and year two and spent time observing as well as getting actively involved with daily activities. Some days were especially challenging since I was trusted to work with children who either had learning difficulties or lacked concentration and determination to work hard. Fortunately, I used all my past experiences and never had big troubles dealing with daily tasks. I co-orperated closely with teachers and classroom assistants to consult about possible issues and resolve any troubles. I have a CRB check.

Organized a range of fundraisers on my own and in a team. Raised thousands of pounds for big and small charity organizations such as CLIC Sargent and Marie Curie Cancer Care. I developed good research, negotiation and planning skills through researching the bands and venues, organizing bake sales to cover the costs of PA system, designed and distributed marketing material. I developed good managerial and problem solving skills. I am a confident team-player. I also improved my sales experiences since I did not only have to sell my ideas to all parts involved, but also the tickets to possible attendees.

I am passionate about children. I was working with ten 5-7 year old children teaching them Lithuanian and preparing the program for annual events. I helped children to prepare the Christmas program and an annual theatre event. I learned to work quickly and accurately managing my time and being responsible for children in a classroom environment. Part of my responsibility was to advertise the school and find potential pupils.
