My work here includes:Designing RESTful Java Spring based web services utilising caching, messaging and asynchronous processing.Working with open source technologies including Apache Solr, Spark, Zookeeper and other software products.Working in a dynamic agile environment, assessing business requirements and choosing the right tools for the job.Using scrum and version control tools.

During my time here I worked with two systems: maintaining one and creating second one from scratch. Maintenance tasks where mostly BE related and helped me to develop analytic thinking needed to understand and correctly change already written code. Also I learned to take into account possible side effects that can occur and prevent them. While creating new system I worked mainly with BE, but had some FE work too. This experience helped me to understand how software development works in real life, how BE depends on FE and vice versa, what processes should be done in what part of system. This project introduced me to micro-services, pros and cons of this architecture and how to develop/maintain it.
