I am midway into my chosen career as a financial planner. I have 20 years experience, and have advised many clients from different backgrounds and in varying situations on how to manage their finances appropriately, and consider the full picture.I have studied hard to combat an endlessly changing financial landscape, to ensure that my technical knowledge remains sound. I am a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.Many of my clients have been advised over a number of years, and I place great importance on viewing financial planning as a long term journey. Be it saving for retirement, protecting one's family, or knowing how best to structure assets to be as tax efficient as possible, are all areas I have expertise in. I also work with other professionals clients may have, such as an accountant or solicitor, to ensure there is joined up thinking and good communication in place.The continual restrictions on pension funding have impacted a number of my clients, and so I am adept at managing more complex matters such as lifetime allowance and annual allowance issues and final salary pension scheme reviews. Estate planning and trusts is another specialty, and I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
