Typical of the agency environment, staff tended to be involved in multiple aspects of the business.Client support/account management/front end development were still a significant part of my day-to-day work, but the role also included what would typically be considered product management in a larger organisation - working with developers of the in-house content management system to build a set of features to allow clients to update their websites while still maintaining quality, modern and accessible standards of code. The experience gained from directly supporting clients allowed a different perspective on how a user expects a system to work.
