Founding managing partner in 2004 of EOC Partners, with multiple company sales/exits, acquisitions and investments with clients and counterparties worldwide, typically involving growth-stage and established technology businesses, and with offices in the UK, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland. Also co-founder of growth investor firm (EOC Capital, exited in 2019 to Stella Capital). Vice-chairman of Stella EOC after merger in 2017 (acquired in 2020 by GCA Altium, now Houlihan Lokey). Prior to acquisition Stella EOC had completed over 230 M&A and financing transactions.Extensive background in technology (software, IT, deep tech, engineering, sciences) and business (marketing, product and strategic business development in early-stage, growth and major companies), and in leading financial and technology-based businesses and operations across multiple countries. Visiting professor in the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College London, and member of the management team for the Sargent Centre (Imperial and UCL), one of the world's leading centres for systems engineering. With a focus on industrial and enterprise applications, the Centre's activities include AI/ML and optimisation, digitisation, process systems, circular economy, and technology and systems aimed at decarbonisation and achieving net zero. Science PhD (Birmingham) then research fellow at Oxford University/Trinity College. Winner of the Rank Prize for Optoelectronics, the major global award in this field.
