I am an experienced Maintenance Engineer and Technician with a wealth of capabilities and knowledge acquired within the electrical engineering and manufacturing fields. Effectively combining technical expertise with strong analytical abilities, I am particularly effective at performing in-depth maintenance work whilst focusing on minimising downtime and loss of production. My career started at Castle Cement, undertaking an apprentice focused on preventative, condition-based and breakdown maintenance operations in an environment where lean manufacturing was of paramount importance. Further on, I held various Electrical & Instrumentation Technician roles focused on conducting planned and preventative maintenance tasks, and marked by significant contributions in optimising processes.With a broad technical knowledge base, I have experience with AC & DC motors, AC variable speed drives, DC drives, transformers, programmable logic controllers, air circuit breakers, and a wide array of tools and systems. During my career, I have also acquired excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills, and a strong ability to maintain positive relationships with all people.
