Program Manager, Boeing IT SOx – Using Program Management disciplines established a uniform company-wide general computing controls and internal IT process evaluation and monitoring program. Worked with IT and Finances executives to resolve compliance issues and control the impact of SOx. IT director for eBuy program management (2001-2004), a companywide initiative to web-enable procurement activity across Boeing. Established IT visibility and architecture for company-wide procurement and B2B exchange interaction. Interface to Exostar, the start-up global aerospace trading exchange founded by Boeing with four other aerospace companies.Director of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Competence Center (1994-2001) for the Define and Control Airplane Configuration/Manufacturing Resource Management (DCAC/MRM) program, the highest priority process improvement program in Boeing Commercial Airplane Group. Led the design, modification, and implementation of off-the-shelf ERP processes and systems for 19 Commercial part manufacturing factories with over 18,000 users. Accomplished process customizations and performance improvements. Adopted innovative implementation techniques including Proof of Concept centers, Subject Matter Experts, and Site Key Users.Other leadership positions included: the recall negotiation and completion of an external multimillion dollar automated inventory management system for a centralized manufacturing warehouse for airplane assembly; implementation of common IT processes and visibiliy metrics; the business and daily operational functions for the Boeing Advanced Technology (AI) center; and architecture standards for protocols between production data centers.
