Have worked in travel industry since 1999. Started as a leader leading tours. Handled Inbound operations as GM Operations of an India based travel setup. Handled Inbound travel from Adventure Travel Company, Boutique travel setups and luxury travel Companies from around the world. During the course of my job, have worked on building hotels with the view of saving old heritage of Rajasthan. Was instrumental in helping salvage ruined Tordi Fortress, now a beautiful home stay and accommodation, Kriparam ki haveli in old city of Jaipur, Sawarda Garh in Sawarda village, Bhairon Vilas (An old ariscratic haveli), our own small property in Bikaner - Udai Niwas and its subsidiary Cafe Indra, and Indra's - Fine Dining Restaurant.- keeping these properties understand and adopt grassroot tourism by encouraging them to employ locals and create activities for locals to earn a living from. Currently managing Inbound Travel operations for South Asia, Appointing and training Service providers, liaising, enterprising, creating new travel products and marketing them, sourcing new tour leaders/ tour guides and training them. I also assist my family in running a small boutique homestay, a cafe and a fine dining restaurant in my home town Bikaner.
