Assistant Engineer
CurrentProject: Replacement of TVF,ECS and Fire Panels (R173A, R178A)- Part of a team to Design, installation, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, optimizing climate control within MRT stations.- Assist in the installation of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting, ensuring compliance with code requirements and rapid response in case of fire incidents.- Assist in the installation of tunnel ventilation and ECS systems, including system layout design, fan sizing, control system selection, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.- Select and specify mechanical equipment, such as pumps and fans, to align with project goals and requirements.- Oversee the testing and commissioning of ventilation, fire protection and ECS systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with design specifications.- Ensure air quality within the tunnel met safety and environmental standards, including the design of filtration and pollutant control systems.Project: Trackwork for Bishan Depot/Ulupandan Depot Depot. (R150)- Lead and manage P-way and Power job scope for trackwork at various MRT depots.- Act as a Person-In-Charge (PIC) and Possession Master (PM) for station and track works.- Review Contractor's Method Statement and Risk Assessment.- Oversee installations and reinstatements, ensuring compliance with Method Statement and Specifications.- Responsible for safe switching of traction power and power-related equipment for a reliable railway system.- Ensure Contractor adherence to LTA/SMRT modification procedures and safety protocols.- Conduct monthly and annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) for NDC 750VDC breakers.- Witness and ensure the Testing & Commissioning of Power Trackside Equipment.
