I studied biology at university and have since moved from doing research in academia to scientific publishing at a private company and back to academia, but this time doing science communication.I am interested in communicating science to the general public, as well as within the scientific community, also on social media. I also have a deep interest in research integrity (RI) and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in science (and in general!). I am currently coordinating the PRBB "Equality, Diversity and Inclusion" and the "Good Scientific Practice" working groups, and teach research integrity to young researchers. This course is compulsory for all PhD students at the Life sciences department of the Pompeu Fabra Unviersity (CEXS-UPF), as well as optional for students in several masters degrees.The course aims to familiarise post-graduate students in biomedicine with current ideas and debate around the theme of good scientific practice including issues on: data management, sharing and reporting; conflicts of interest; animal and human research; and the politics of publications. -

I also update the company website and manage the PRBB social media, and host and guide visitors.Regarding scientific affairs: I coordinate the PRBB Equality, Diversity and Inclusion commitee, and the PRBB Good Scientific Practice working group, both of them groups formed by members of the 6 research centres that form the park.I also teach research integrity and good scientific practices to master students at the BIST, and to PhD students and postdocs at different research centres throughout Catalonia. -
