My role is to help businesses make data-driven decisions by by providing insights through data analytics and building data visualisation dashboards.

My role is to develop novel AI-enhanced tools to deliver robust medical imaging software and help patients get better diagnosis. - Build, train and test ML models- Design algorithms for 2D/3D imaging- Robustness testingI was also responsible for liasing between medics and the research scientist to ensure that the clinical trial runs smoothly.

During this internship I investigated how federated learning can be used to train more robust AI models by using medical images available at different health institutions.- Devised experiments to capture practical scenarios on data availibility.- Curated datasets.- Built and trained AI classification models with PyTorch. - Tested and analysed various models via experiment trackers and performance metrics.- Reported on current limitations and proposed future research directions to this new research area.

As a team we places first and won £3000 to develop our idea aimed towards reducing diabetic complications.

During this placement I worked in the Electrical Preparation area where I studied the processes involved. I compiled a Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) detailing the current processes and how these can be improved.

During this Summer placement I had the opportunity to work directly on the production line, mainly in the manufacturing area and analyse the current processes from the quality point of view. I was able to give suggestions for improvement to the current procedures and then compiled these suggestions in quality plans which were later introduced on the production line.

As a financial officer I was responsible for the up-to-date book keeping of financial transactions of the organisation. I also searched for sponsors which would help the organisation to host educational events beneficial to engineering students. This experience helped me improve my public speaking skills and make new connections.
