About Marveon Mabon

I’m Marveon Mabon, a fourth-year sociology student at Morehouse College with a passion for leadership, public service, and community empowerment.Growing up in the Imperial Courts public housing projects in Watts, California, I’ve always been committed to creating opportunities for underrepresented communities. My journey has taken me from interning with the office of Reverend Dr. Senator Raphael Warnock to working with the Los Angeles City Council, LA Civil Rights Department, The Los Angeles Mayor’s Office and much more. Each experience has deepened my drive to make a difference through policy, mentorship, and advocacy.At Morehouse, I proudly serve as Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee for the 93rd Student Government Association, overseeing funding decisions that impact student life.
