My background consists of serving as a Family Assistance Eligibility Agent/ EFS Specialist. Daily tasks include interviewing new individuals and determining their eligibility for multiple programs. In addition, researching current recipient accounts, data information, and documents; following and applying accepted respective program principles, policies, and procedure guidelines, collecting and entering sensitive information into system, computing budgets; verifying eligibility documentation. Prepare for received documents to be turned into case files including changes affecting eligibility; notify participants of any changes in their assistance or services. Prepare routine correspondence, appointments, case summaries, and reports. Refers cases of suspected fraud and/or referrals of overpayment and performing other related duties as assigned. Accounting is used extensively in our department when working as an Eligibility Agent/EFS Specialist. I have prior history working as an Asset Protection Specialist for Best Buy. Duties in this position included monitoring the store for potential security risks alarm functions, protecting against fraudulent activity by creating alerts, and documenting incidents properly when necessary. Often interacted with customers, store employees to maintain a safe and profitable environment. Encouraging alongside enforcing to employees the principles, standards and policies related to crisis events and monitor their fulfillment. Work with the management and others to resolve any hazards or compliance issues and investigate any employee or customer accidents. As a college graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University, in Business Administration. I graduated with honors as Magna Cum Laude & GPA of 3.84.
