My regular activities include teaching five classes, serving two duties per day, conferencing with students as needed, contacting and conferencing with parent/guardian as needed, providing extra help to students as needed, reviewing and implementing IEPs of classified students who are assigned to my classes, working with administrators, guidance councilors, social workers, psychologists and other personnel to help meet my students’ needs. My assignments are usually in my area of specialty, mathematics, but for the past four years, my assignments also included teaching two sections of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) course in the STEM Career Academy. I addition to my regular teaching responsibilities I also worked on various curriculum projects as author, co-author and advisor.For seventeen years, I also taught various regents level mathematics courses for the Poughkeepsie High School Summer School Program.

My responsibilities include coordinating services for teenage students with special needs. This involves assessing students’ needs, interfacing with on site and off site service providers, plan various on site and off site activities. Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for my students. Plan quarterly IEP meetings for assessing and setting goals and objectives for my assigned students. Generate monthly and quarterly progress reports for these students.

Managing a ten-county territory. Daily activities involve meetings with physicians; visits to hospitals and pharmacies, and conferencing with various health professionals. Other functions included regular report generation and correspondence; product-information displays at various medical conferences and conventions.

Responsible for the maintenance and development of marketing territory for financial products and services. Responsibilities also include risk management and portfolio planning for small businesses and individuals.

Responsible for establishing new accounts within the small business and corporate markets; coordinating package pick-up and delivery, limousine service, and sight seeing tours for over sixty accounts.
