Hudson Yards NYC | City, ST (December 2018 – January 2020)Director of Tactical Security Operations (G4S) At Hudson Yards NYC, I clinched compliance to safety and environmental policies and procedures while strategically developing tactical safety and security programs, plans, and training following local laws and state regulations, federal government laws, and regulatory requirements. I investigated unlawful and unethical activities on the property, developing metrics measuring security programs and by and maintaining physical security standards to swiftly resolve safety, theft, and fraud incidents. Moreover, I specked out and purchased state of the art security systems, tactical, equipment, and supplies, all while maintaining and monitoring physical security equipment, including security alarms, CCTVs, and fire alarm systems.In addition to these, I conducted regular departmental audits and reports for safety concerns to promote and improve good work practices. I also rendered assistance in fulfilling employment initiatives by screening applications, exhibiting interviews, providing hiring recommendations, and administering training sessions to ensure top-level departmental performance. NYPD – New York City Emergency Management | New York City, NY (Month 2014 – Month 2018)Director of Citywide Response/Senior Advisor to the Commissioner Here, I functioned as a senior advisor to the Commissioner of the NYC Emergency Management (NYCEM) on operational, executive, facility, security, personnel, and financial matters. I also worked as the Director of Citywide Response, the largest in the world (24/7), responsible for supervising NYPD, FDNY, and other city agencies’ citywide inter-agency coordinators.Accordingly, I commandeered overall emergency management programs and crisis response protocols, governing reactions to incidents, such as natural disasters, major threats, and large-scale emergencies, coordinating and leading training on crisis response, anticipating potential dangers, taking safety precautions, and enforcing compliance. I also attended and coordinated meetings with outside agencies, such as on Ed Electric/Gas, Department of Environment Protection, Department of Transportation, Department of Buildings, HPD, private corporations, and small businesses. In addition, I engaged in a broad spectrum of roles spanning the review of reports on security incidents and threats, coordination of complex meetings involving risk analysis, preparedness, and contingency planning, and proper budgeting.
