Lead strategy for Target's Supply Chain Modernization and Transformation

Regional Leadership: responsible for leading 11 large automated Regional Distribution Buildings ranging from 1.5 to 2.2. million SqFt. Across 8 states (NY, PA, MI, GA, AL, NC, VA, WI) that processed over 25 billion worth of merchandise annually. In summary, I had 11 direct reports that lead a total of 450 salaried and over 5000 hourly team members.

Regional Leadership: I was Responsible for leading 11 buildings across 7 states. Three Import Warehouses ranging from 1.5 to 1.9 million SqFt.; one 2 million SqFt ., Import Warehouse/Fulfillment Center hybrid; two over-pack dot.com fulfillment centers (FC) 350k – 900k and one 750k high cube ship-alone FC; Four automated regional distribution centers supplying retail stores ranging from 1.3 – 2.2 million SqFt. Lead a HQ FC support operations team responsible for supporting FC operations and managing two 3PL FCs. In summary, 11 direct reports leading a total of 385 salaried and 3200 hourly team members.

The General Manager within Target's supply chain is the senior executive on site. In Oregon, I was a Regional Distribution Center GM responsible for the financial and operational performance of the site. Typically leading 5 to 7 managers and a production controller in the support of retail stores. Leading approximately 45 salary and 500 hourly team members in a 1.5 million SqFt automated building. In California, GM of multi-site Import Warehouse operations totaling 2.2 million SqFt. Leading 40 salary and 350 hourly team members.

Responsible for enhancing the operational performance of all outbound, packing, music and movies, staffing and budgeting of Target's Distribution Division. Performed a function focused regional role requiring a high degree of travel to all national distribution centers, as well as a headquarters program management role.

I was the operations officer for a main support battalion consisting of 6 companies and over 1200 soldiers. I lead a team of approximately 15 soldiers. I was responsible for all training, operational planning and company mission support. I was also an inventory control officer for the Sacramento Army Depot (Deactivated).
