Owner & FounderClawson Architects, Llc Feb 2000 - PresentAs the owner of a Nationally Recognized, Award Winning Architectural and Interior Design firm, I am the Principal Architect in charge of multiple project teams, I guide the development of design ideas that authentically represent the clients needs and goals, and guide the client and a team of dedicated design professionals through a thoughtful process of designing and detailing spaces with exceptional care and delivering extraordinary results. I believe in a collaborative team approach and work with the clients and consultants, sketching in perspective to help all team members visualize the concepts I am proposing. I find the ability to sketch to scale is an invaluable tool when working in the field with the contractors to explain details or trouble shoot issues that arise. I have skillfully navigated approvals from Boards of Directors, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and challenging municipalities as well as making peer presentations to the NYC AIA, the Client's Donors and Historical Preservation groups.
