U.S. Bolt Manufacturing, Inc. is a project oriented shop, producing small to medium quantities of highly engineered and custom fasteners. Our Hot-Forged, Special Fasteners are used in critical and safety-related applications. Our market includes OEMs producing equipment for Power Generation (nuclear and non-nuclear), Oil & Gas exploration and production, Navy Shipbuilding, Off-Road Machinery and other heavy industrial applications.Although our focus is typically on OEM sales, we do have relationships with a small number of Fastener Supply Chain Providers who recognize the importance of quality and integrity in critical-use fasteners. We provide technical assistance and engineering support to this select group, giving them a competitive advantage in this market segment. As a Sales Estimator my responsibilities includes:-Analyze blueprints (Drawings) and other documentation to prepare time,cost,materials and labor estimates.-Spend the majority of the work day preparing data associated with either producing a new product or improving the design of an existing product.-Forecast the production cost within a given table.-Reviewing and releasing routers and work orders prior to manufacturing.

-Responsible for gathering information to be used to produced the project estimate-Determine the quantity of material, labor, time etc. that will be needed to furnish items.- Review drawings and specifications of the proposed project/job per customers requirements.- Preparing total cost/summary of project/job including. Labor, Equipment, Materials and other cost that may affect the project/job- Collaborate with engineers to determine machining operations, tools, gauges and materials to be used

- Responsible for handling 20+ accounts and grow customer base through referrals, networking and sales presentations.- Managing a wide variety of items and materials in sourcing, purchasing and warehousing operations- Experience with MRP creating purchase orders for required items from approved suppliers (SAP Production)- Handling calls from customers regarding quotes, expedites etc. on a daily basis- Creating RFQ’s, Purchase Orders, Order Entry, Expedites etc. on a daily basis- Work and completing weekly reports, such late reports, on time reports, Open order reports and Documenting sales (Monthly)

- Delivering Orders to the Customer- Set up POU (Point of Use) to different manufacturing processing areas (Kanban like)- Scan items with low levels and keep items at Reorder quantity- Create and replace new labels (Barcode) from POU areas- Create, Ship, Receive and processing orders, transfers, returns etc- Sorting, Picking and Stocking items and classify them by part number, description, lot number, location number etc.- Create weekly packets for total sales- Conducting cycle counts monthly for certain items/areas
