• Assigned to the Conversion Team. Responsible for the successful completion of converting facility data into the HMS databases used by CHS. The facility data originated from other database systems such as HCA PA, Keene, Meditech, Medetech Bar, SERIES, SMS and Star. The databases to be converted consisted of Master Patient Index, Patient Accounting and Healthcare Information Management. The programs were written using SQLRPGLE, RPGILE and CLP programming languages. • Completed a project to extract Security and SOX information. A total of 75 remote Hospital facilities were involved. The data was collected and transmitted via FTP to a central security iSeries system. These data elements were: User & Group profile information, Authorization list information, System Values, AP & Payroll signature authorizations, Menu to program call authorization and Application specific security control file authorization. The programs were written using RPGILE and CLP programming languages. • Completed a project to create a Patient Chart Audit Report. The report was needed to document all HMS Clinical Documentation entries logged for a patient. The programs were written using SQLRPGLE, RPGILE and CLP programming languages. • Completed a project to create a Item Master Extract. The programs were written using RPGILE and CLP programming languages. • Completed a project to create a Charge Master Extract for the Deployment Analysis team. The programs were written using RPGILE and CLP programming languages.

• Assist team with security information gathering for SOX compliancy. Retrieve & document security data from system level information files. Most of the SOX data was gleaned from the Audit journal. Additional security information was retrieved from System Values, User & Group profiles and authorization lists.

Create an FTP process to give the user the ability to transmit an Accounts Payable Purchase order check to a 3rd party clearing house payment system.• 2. Modify user interfaces to provide new Garnishment deductions during payroll processing. • 5.  Made modifications on the module for Pick list / Pick ticket OOP group. This consisted of a service program with several modules. Programming done in RPGILE. Made modifications to their Item & Dimensions procedures in preparation for an interface to Varsity Shipper Application package. These programs were a mixture of RPGIV, RPGILE and CLP.

Also trained to use Altiris and Abstract. • Modified a group of Credit Card authorization processes to correct charges applied to the wrong invoice. These programs were a mixture of RPGIII, RPGIV and CLP. • Automate the Summary Invoice report by putting it in the job Scheduler. • Modify the Issues & Receipts program. Make changes to the input entry screen and the report. Fully document and test the procedure prior to releasing it to the user. • Aided in correcting bad data in the Item cross reference file provided by a third party provider. Using IBM Query and SQL• Successfully upgraded the Varsity Shipping software from 2.4 to 2.6. In house modifications using RPGIII had to be converted to RPGILE in order interface correctly.
