As a field Head of Department, leading the program team for the smooth implementation of RI health program in NW Syria. Mainly focusing on team leadership, cross-functional coordination, program management tool development and major assessments. Among my significant achievements:• Strategically-orientated recognized by being selected to be part of RI’s Global Strategy Working Group on Localization ‘Truly Local’.• Outstanding Local Leader recognized by RI’s HQ for my participation in the Local Leadership Development Program and efforts in improving local leadership capabilities in NW Syria.• Developed technical program implementation tools and led 8+ comprehensive assessments aimed at improving program quality and informing evidence-based decision-making.• Strengthened the capacity of 100+ staff of RI’s field team by providing training and coaching sessions in Project Management and Leadership.

Idlib, Syria

• The Senior Official for NWS responsible for the International Association of Project Managers’ events in NWS. In addition, the main focal point on the organisational issues of the IAPM for Syria.• Establishing the first online hub for IAPM in Syria to incubate Syrian Professionals in the Project Management domain.• Translating IAPM’s Project Management Guide (PM Guide, Version 2) into Arabic to facilitate the access of Arabic learners in the MENA region to the guide.

Idlib, Syria

• Delivered 70 training hours on PMP for 40 trainees during Jan/Feb 2020 for WVI staff in Idlib and Azaz.

Bab Al-Hawa, Syria

A short-term consultancy contract to assess the organizational capacity of IHH operations in NW Syria, developing a comprehensive strategic plan and strengthening the capacity of their staff. Main achievements:• Completed a comprehensive organizational capacity assessment (OCA) and set-out a strategic development roadmap with actionable initiatives for 7 functional departments.• Contributed to the initiation of a strategic partnership between IHH and Syrian Civil Defense through improving the internal systems and procedures to accommodate the partnership.• Delivered 3 extensive training programs on leadership and soft skills for IHH’s staff and their local partnering CSOs leading to 30% improved performance.

Aqrabat, Syria

Contributed greatly as the field program lead in NW Syria to establishing the program department and designing innovative programs. At the top of my achievements:• Co-designed and Managed 3 innovative and life-changing projects in Livelihoods and Women Empowerment with a total budget of $1M USD.• Participated in the design and initiation of 4 projects in Early-recovery, CSOs Empowerment and Education sectors.• Established an NGO Intern Support Network in partnership with 18 local NGOs that incubated 170 fresh employees in different positions.

Established the Livelihoods department at Syria Relief in NW Syria and led the implementation and co-design of complex and challenging programs. My main achievements:• Led the implementation of a provincial TVET project in Idlib targeting Youth and Women around all the province districts.• Designed the proposals for 3 livelihood projects in TVET and Agricultural Development with a gross budget of $1.5M USD.

• Delivered food assistance and kits to beneficiaries in remote locations within Southern and Eastern Countryside of Idlib Province.
