Will promote an open and honest work relationship to create high safety motivation, accountability and commitment5. Be part of new projects team as safety representative and give required advice and support in identifying safety requirement during planning, preparation and implementation phases6. Act as a member of and readiness to start activities (i.e PSSR) including safety field visit for audit and inspection7. Review weekly and daily planning field activities and ensure that all Methanex safety requirements are fulfilled during planned, preparation and execution phases8. Actively participate in the current RC programs (L2W, Star, and STOP …etc.). Identifies RC/ safety specific training gaps for the project contractor members and propose solutions9. Participates in the periodic project work planning meeting ensuring correct RC requirements identification12. Works with Responsible Care department members in a collaborative manner in resolution of RC program issues and concerns

Responsible for maintaining and ensure the proper implementation of the Project site HSE program, Has the Project Contractor Works supervisors in achieving high level of safe work environment, this includes on siteHSE training, inspections, tool box talks and proper keeping of the HSE equipment.• In charge to manage multiple permits in same place.• Carry out HSE site inspection tours to monitor report and follow up any substandard work environmentalconditions & unsafe practices. Advise the Contractor work supervisors to implement the correctiveactions for elimination of any potential source of workenvironmental hazards.• Monitoring heavy lifting activities and providing feasible solutions in erection time.• Ensure and follow up all hazardous and critical jobs are implemented in complete adherence with HSE regulations, instructions and procedures. And that all the precautions stated by the designated work permitshave been implemented before starting the jobs.• Responsible to make sure that all the project Contractor manpower are responding to the emergency conditionsand to check reporting of the emergency conditions and the emergency exercises conducted or participatedby the project team.• Ensure Risk assessment & Hazard management process is applied to all activities and that risk registers aremaintained along with lessons learned.
