• Leading the Commissioning and start up activities for STG, HRSG, Water Treatment Plant, Diverter Damper, Oily Water, CCW and Blow Down.• Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, receive and implement instructions as given by him to facilitate the works and cooperate with the Construction and Commissioning Teams. • Review, read and update the Commissioning Procedures, Project related Documents (O&M Manuals, Training Manuals, Drawings, P&IDs, SLDs, Contracts etc...) for all the Systems and ensure that documentation and procedures are in place and approved.• Conduct and attend Safety Tool Box Lectures to familiarize the individuals with the safety requirements applicable to Power Plants Projects and to ensure their strict adherence to the safety rules and regulations.• Monitor, guide and support the construction teams in executing the Construction Activities to ensure that the priority systems and sequence is being followed according to the Project's Planning Schedule.• Follow up the Handover from Erection to Commissioning Activities, review and releasing the Erection Completion Certificates before submitting to Client.• Declare systems to be LIVE/under TEST by releasing its related NSEC (new system/equipment certificate) to ensure that commissioning activities/energize of systems are carried out in a safe controlled manner and that LOTO Systems are in place and implemented.• Work with Site Commissioning Teams and Vendors to resolve all outstanding engineering issues affecting progress.• Witness the Commissioning tests and milestone activities and raise inspection requests for work completed.• Attend Daily Coordination Meetings with the Commissioning Team and Client and Submit the commissioning and Progress reports on daily basis.• Update the Progress to the Planning and Cost Engineer Department

• Close coordination and follow up with the Designers and Engineering teams for the piping Purchase Orders and resolving the piping related issues. • Crosschecking the Piping Ordered material versus the Global Piping MTO and approve the site material requests issued by the Site Teams and Fabrication Shops.• Monitor the off-site spool fabrication and coordinate the proper priority flow of spools to the site and maintain updated delivery schedules from the fabricator through the expediting department and report the overall progress to the Project Manager.• Conduct coordination meetings and conference calls with all Vendors in complying with their contractual commitments in delivering the piping related material and technical documents to our site (piping isometric, support details and P&ID Drawings).• Ensure all latest Pipe Fabrication drawings are released to and being used by the Piping Fabrication Shops and manage and facilitate the fabrication works till the delivery of all the required spools to the Site Erection Teams. • Weekly visits to the local piping suppliers to expedite the piping orders to the site• Create the Hydro-static test boundaries for the Project and perform site visits to elaborate more to the project team the physical boundaries and give advice for required test material to be fabricated and purchased.• Submit Daily/Weekly Reports reflecting the Performance of the Fabrication Shops and Erection Teams to the Project Management and the Hydrostatic Test Progress.

• Leading the Group assigned for the Water Treatment Plant Commissioning including all Vendors’ Technical Advisors, Construction and Commissioning Engineers, Discipline Managers and Package Owners to start and finalize the commissioning activities in the QASSIM Project’s Water Treatment Plant.• Close follow up and coordination between mechanical, electrical and I&C Teams for expediting and completion of the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.• The Pre-commissioning Activities include the Hydrostatic testing of all the Piping Lines, Air Blowing, continuity and Insulation testing for the Cables and Final Alignment for all the Pumps.• The Commissioning Works include the PLC and MCC Energize, PLC Software Downloading, PLC SAT, Logic Checks, hot loop checks for all the signals, Rotation and Solo Run tests for all the Motors, Sand and Carbon Filters filling, Resin Loading in the Mixed Beds, RO Membranes placement, Chemical Filling, Water Flushing for the Piping and Wet Commissioning Functional Test.

• Execute an overall take off for the work quantities (U/G Piping, Equipment, Steel Structure, A/G Piping, Valves, Specialty Items, painting, insulation, cladding works, Pipe Labelling, Flow Direction Arrows and Pipe Supports) from all related design drawings. • Attend daily and weekly Site Progress meetings with Site Construction Teams and report the progress to the Planning Engineer to help in updating the Progress in the Overall Project Schedule.• Provide the Take Off to the Cost Control to be integrated in the project quantity tracking system and report on weekly basis the quantities installed to the Cost Engineer.• Provide the Procurement Personnel with the material delivery priorities and check the ordered material vs. the field take-off to identify with design teams the permanent materials and construction material to be ordered by the field.• Collect Requirements from site team and submit site material request forms for all the tools, consumables and testing equipment required for the job on priority basis.• Assist the Site Store Management to store and protect the material issued to the site.• Analyse the need and create Field Work Shops for pre-assembly, bending, pipe threading, pipe spooling and supports shop fabrication, painting and insulation works.• Manage and directly execute the works and distribute the planned activities to the erection groups and monitor their achieved work on daily basis.• Establish communications with the Site Team to detect and resolve Design and Engineering Problems in coordination with Engineering and Design Groups.• Coordinate with Client, QA/QC and Engineering to set and agree on the Boundaries for the Hydrostatic Packages prior to documentation preparation. • Perform Inspection and witness tests of works in progress on a continuing basis as per stated in ITPs.

SCOPE : Part of AVERDA Group company for maintaining waste treatment plants as well as designing, operating and monitoring of landfills in Lebanon.Job Responsibilities :Managing the operation of SUKOMI Waste Treatment and Recycling Plant and supervising a team of 10 Foremen and over a hundred workers by ensuring their proper productivity, efficiency and appearance of subordinates. Working according to the adopted operational plan to reach their daily production targets .Monitoring the Performance and Efficiency of the teams and submitting daily reports to the Plant Manager. Enforcing and adhering to proper safety policies, measures and practices. Monitoring and supervising the process and the adopted operational plan inside the Plant and calling upon maintenance for equipment repair by the concerned technical personnel via the corresponding Managers.
