As a Security Officer I assess the current protection level of the network, datacenter and external network connection to and from the network. I support IT to ensure the compliance of these assets towards our clients policies, standards and applicable legislation. I support projects, assess the effectiveness of the security of the network, infrastructure and will, together with involved stakeholders, determine a solution strategy for detected security non-compliance upon this scope. Where applicable I support investigations / forensics activities upon the network and DC.My focus is on protection and security of :• Network devices such as (not limited to): routers, switches, firewalls, DHCP and DNS.• Network and Datacenters (e.g. network access, network / LAN/ WAN/ WLAN and DC segmentation).• 3rd part network connections / network devices located at 3rd party locations• Software Defined Network / Infra as a code / Zero Trust / SD WAN• Scope: organisation worldwide USA, Europe, Asia• Support and/or conduct audits, pentests and computer forensics upon the above scope.

As a freelance senior network security engineer I worked with a team in order to move 2 Datacenters to 1 new location. In order to do this we need to make an inventory of what needs to be moved and what can be decommissioned. After the inventarization we prepared and optimized the current network setup so that the networks could be moved to the new datacenter.

As a Security Implementation Engineer (L3) at NTT I worked on the following projects:- Temporary helped out the Support department- Several upgrades of Checkpoint (MDM&VSX) environment from R77.30 to R80.30 (management and gateways)- Implementation of Cisco ISE and the redesign of the network

As a Security Engineer I am responsible for providing network and security advice to the customers, implementing Firewall Changes/Upgrades (CheckPoint),Implementing & setting up and troubleshooting connectivity’s issues (VPN). Next to my role as security engineer, I'm also responsible for the coordination of changes.Also working with Bomgar (privileged access management system), did the implementation for a large customer.Worked with the following devices and software:- Checkpoint- TopDesk- ForcePoint- F5- InfobloxAlso followed the CISSP course.

Project via InWork at:- Zero70, van Ameyde groep from 15 september 2015 till 30 september 2015. I did a network refresh for zero70, the network needed to be upgraded with firewalls and HP switches. I did this for four offices of van Ameyde (Copenhagen, Stockholm, Rotterdam and Milaan). Also did some additional hands on work for the employees in these offices. - Dimension Data from 1 October 2015 till 1 August. I followed a traineeship at Dimension Data as an Engineer, the traineeship is focused on networking, security and consultancy. I did some big projects like:- Network migration with a scale of 1200 HP routers;- Installed a redundant network for several clothing stores;- Network migration from HP to Cisco for a production company- Installation and configuration of Dell servers with Vmware ESX.I also joined the Field service operations team for 2 months, I had several tasks at the FSO team:- Incidents - replace/reconfigure faulty equipment at customers of Dimension Data.- Changes - excecuted planned network changes- RMA - return faulty equipment to the supplier- Spare management - managed the stockroom.I also joined the Security Support team for 2 months, at the Securtiy Support team I handled security tickets like firewall changes on several firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco)
