Responsible for the coordination of all QHSE efforts on board the unit. Supports rig leadership and crews by providing practical input to all aspects of QHSE operations including but not limited to safety, training and compliance issues.Knowledgeable in the HS&E MS of Seadrill to record any discrepancy or non-compliance;Responsible for coordination and recording of all onboard safety training and e-learning for Seadrill,Client and Third Party personnel;Maintain compliance programs established by Seadrill, the Client and Governmental agencies;Participate and assist in development and training of emergency response teams as per Station Bill;Conduct daily audits and weekly safety inspections with relevant supervisors as required;Maintain compliance programs established by Seadrill, the Client and Governmental agencies;Participate and assist in development and training of emergency response teams as per Station Bill;Knowledgeable about behavioral processes and procedures used to identify potentially unsafe hazards or conditions. Able to identify and react accordingly to eliminate these hazards or conditions;In the event of an incident on the unit, under the direction of the Offshore Installation Manager, the Safety Officer will: a) secure the site and take the necessary steps to preserve and document evidence; (b) perform the initial incident investigation; (c) participate in the investigation and rootcause analysis (d) act as document control or recorder of the incident for the investigation team;Experience working with and understanding of an international safety case process, unit bridging documents and information contained within the each document and how they relate to daily operations;Ensure that approved rig operating procedures are adhered to at all times. Report all unsafe activities, situations, and potential hazards to supervisor;

• Demonstrate commitment to and ensure safe and efficient compliance with all regulatory, client, industry and Dolphin QHS&E requirements.• Provide advice, training and mentoring to all crew members to demonstrate that QHS&E is a line responsibility.• Provide training and mentoring on the SMS and its components.• Through demonstration, intervention, interaction and communication monitor that:a. All relevant QHS&E procedures and practices are followed during operations; particularly assessment and communication.b. Suitable and sufficient assessment is carried out, appropriately communicated and applied for hazardous situations and changes to/during operations.• Assist with and verify a high standard of onboard induction training for all personnel.• Assist OIM with emergency and security procedures and drill planning to ensure all components are up-to date (e.g. maintain drill matrix).• Assist operations by monitoring compliance with QHS&E performance indicators while tracking and assisting with corrective and preventive action.• Assist with SMS review and competence program maintenance as required.• Assist in the planning and conducting of safety meetings by providing input such as policies, procedures, updates, assessments, presentations and admin support.• Liaison with Aberdeen QHS&E & HR Departments, ensuring that training levels are maintained and co-ordinated.
