I have extensive field and analytical lab experience in addition to being well-versed in data processing and instrumental analysis. I am passionate about environmental research conservation, and community outreach. As a graduate researcher, I used MATLAB and R to process and analyze large datasets from field surveys and laboratory experiments, and I collaborated with other researchers and stakeholders to communicate and disseminate the results and implications of my work. have worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where I studied the effect of aging processes on the optical properties of soot aerosols, and as a research experience for undergraduate participant at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, where I examined the benthic metabolism of the York river estuary. I have also participated in several education and outreach programs, such as the Crandall Fellowship and the CSLA Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award, to promote diversity and inclusion in STEM fields and to engage the public in environmental issues. I am seeking a bench chemist position with a focus on marine systems, where I can apply my skills and knowledge to contribute to the advancement of science and the protection of the environment.
