My journalism experience began more than 15 years ago in Boise, Idaho and through it I havecultivated extensive knowledge of not only the world of writing and multimedia, but humanbeings.I currently work for Westover School in Middlebury, Connecticut, an all girls boarding and dayschool. Since joining the community in January of 2016, I quickly helped establish our onlinesocial media presence to consistent, timely and daily, growing all channels and establishing agreater following. In February of 2019, I was responsible for a brand-new web redesign, workingwith the online company Interactive Schools. I helped curate new content, brand messaging, writing, photos and design. A big emphasis now is through marketing, analytics, PPC, online ad campaigns and establishing a unique brand that works.I also work for DyeState and RunnerSpace, where I provide nation-wide cross country and track and field coverage of student-athletes through in-depth features, Instagram photos and articles. • Responsible for the New England states, New York and New Jersey generating results of every cross country and track meet each weekend, and uploading and formatting to online system. • Coverage this fall of a six-piece series on the Clarkston, Ga. cross country team in 2015 and telling their story on an underfunded and culturally diverse team.Prior, I worked for the New Haven Register, in New Haven, Connecticut for three years. I began with the Register in the summer of 2012 as the sports editor for two weekly newspapers. The last two years, I took over the track and field and cross country beat position for the Register, a daily newspaper. Through this position I was able to put the sport of track and field back on the map in Connecticut.
