• Transportation Operations Center (TOC) Data Warehouse Project – The TOC uses data collected around the City by various equipment and vendors. These data are used to populate the City’s Traveler’s Information Map, as well as used for various analysis and reporting. There are between 7 – 10 different vendors, most of whom store the data at that vendor’s site. I am designing a system to download all data from the various sites, store the historical data locally, then use the data in a multitude of analyses and business intelligence visualizations.• Financial and Labor Hours Datamart, Analysis and Reporting (TMD) - Based upon a query written in StHelen’s data extraction tool, wrote an Oracle SQL*Plus program to extract data from the Summit (PeopleSoft) financial system. Created the end-to-end Monthly Monitoring Report datamart and reporting system, to replace the current process of running the StHelen query for each of the Division’s Project IDs), then loading the data into separate MS Excel spreadsheets, which was then used for a simple crosstab by TMD’s Senior Finance Analyst ran (approximately 12 hours/month). New system takes approximately 40 minutes for ETL of data into datamart and approximately 20 minutes to print all reports to .pdf’s. • Datamarts (SUUF) – Updating permit volumes and revenue (sourced from SDOT’s permitting system), and labor datamarts (sourced from Summit and from HRIS), including significant changes to the Use Code structure and associated dimension tables due to the Omnibus changes in 2013.• TMD’s Asset Management Program - Manage TMD’s asset management efforts, as guided by the SDOT Asset Management Program Manager, as well as TMD’s internal asset owners and process partners. Conduct TMD’s bi-weekly Asset Owners Workgroup meetings, including setting agendas, priorities and work plans. Create and maintain TMD’s SharePoint site for Asset Management.

• As the business-side technical lead and data manager for all issues related to the division's Hansen permiting software, ensure software enhancements and bug fixes are succesfully scoped, designed and implemented by SDOT-IT. • Lead monthly billing process, resulting in division revenue between $8 - $9.5 million annually, including setting schedule, ensuring schedule is adhered to by staff and process partners in SDOT Accounting, resolve issues which arise during billing. • As the office's analyst, download data from personel, permitting and accounting databases (Oracle) to create various financial and performance analysis for division, measuring performance such as Street Use inspectors' billable hours, monthly and annual revenue and expenses, and trends in permit volume vs permit revenue to assist management in navigating and responding to the impact of the economic downturn.
