Hello, my name is Mary Ann.Bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders with a Horticulture Minor and emphasis in Education.Minnesota transplant originally from Wisconsin, with a passion for learning new skills as well as showcasing my own to benefit your business.Over eight years of experience of data entry, creating goals, and managing a group of adults with developmental disabilities to obtain and maintain competitive employment in the community. In addition to working with each individual associate developing job skills daily, I also used creativity to teach daily classes that were both engaging and educational. After three years of working as a Job Coach, I pioneered a new position to do all case management and develop a caseload which included guardians, social workers, associates, and home management. I collaborated with teams to help each associate succeed and move forward to their dream occupation as well as have a satisfactory quality of life that was person centered.In the future, I will continue to develop new skills that push me forward in my career. I want to help companies succeed and use what I have to offer to do so. In my free time, I enjoy anything artistic which includes playing the piano, guitar, and learning more about water color and acrylic painting. I also enjoy exploring new hiking trails. My largest strength is that I am very adaptive. Over the course of 8+ years at my current job, I have been chosen to pioneer a new position in the company as well as test new documentation programs before the rest of the company. I am often relied upon to try something new and report how others may adapt. I am very dependable at my job and it has been told that my days that I do take off are very thoughtful and planned ahead. Working in a management position on my own, I have learned to think of solutions in the moment and be quick on my feet with problem solving. I use compassion with others, but have learned to be very direct with those that I work with. I am creative and innovative.
