I conduct user experience research to gain a deeper understanding of users and learn what solution will best help them. From this deep customer understanding, I translate findings for developers and clients into gaps and opportunities for future work. These methods help stakeholders understand how work actually gets done – in context. It gives me great satisfaction to know that the designs and solutions I help create make customer's lives better.I led a multi-phase education project that uncovered how teachers' teaching practices addressed the personal learning needs of their students. This information inspired the Xerox Ignite® Educator Support System. I took the lead to design student, group and trend performance reports for teachers, students and administrators to assess learning progress over time, as well as recommending revisions to the web and mobile user interfaces.
