I’m Mary Ayoola, I like to call myself ‘The Change Catalyst’. I am a 500 level chemical engineering student and a passionate SDG advocate driven to transform SDG 4, 7& 13. With a National Diploma in Minerals and Petroleum Engineering, my academic expertise fuels my pursuit of sustainable energy solutions. With a strong passion for the energy industry, I’m driven to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and unlock new possibilities in energy production. I look forward to developing innovative solutions that transform the energy landscape.As a proud Millennium Fellow, Leap Africa Fellow, and Youth4climate member, I pioneered The Green Walk Initiative, my Millenium Fellowship project- promoting environmental stewardship, household carbon reduction, energy education, energy efficiency and climate sustainability.Beyond academia, I serve as Vice President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (LAUTECH Chapter), Vice President of the Union of Campus Journalists (LAUTECH Chapter) and a dedicated youth leader. My experience in pageantry as a beauty queen has honed my leadership, community engagement skills and improved my social impact journey.My journey is marked by a deep understanding of transformational leadership, sustainability and community engagement, with an unwavering commitment to integrating sustainability into the energy sector.
