I am a creative education developer with over 15 years of in-class instructional experience, 11 at a post-secondary institution. I am also a collaborative project manager, author and editor. My recent projects include developing new curriculum and reading materials for beginner-level language learners with a focus on positive, local and Indigenous content. My work in this area includes consultation with Indigenous community members and a Traditional Knowledge Sharer. My first EAL novel, A Powwow Story, was published in December of 2022, and the Teacher's Resource Guide that accompanies it was completed in May 2023. I have also edited a book for a local entrepreneur on helping families of neurodivergent children thrive. My passion is helping people communicate ideas and express who they are with confidence through writing and speaking. We all have a story to share, and everyone deserves a time and space to be heard.A Powwow Story https://www.amazon.ca/Powwow-Story-Mary-Bertucci/dp/0228886937
