Operations Manager
CurrentOversee Inbound and Processing operations as well as manage FTZ requirements and inventory accuracy. Launched Global Chargeback program focusing on correcting supplier behavior. Work with drayage carries to ensure level of service are met. Communicate with corporate CS daily align goals and service level agreements. Ability to communicate, give direction to Supervisors and Leads to ensure goals are met on budgets weekly. Coordinates and is responsible for all shifts in workload planning with in Inbound and processing within multiple functional areas. Responsible for formulating and driving any necessary changes within the operation to improve downstream customer quality. Deliver service levels for major and bouquet customers and ensures workloads are aligned with planned volumes for Wholesale departments. Responsible for setting and attaining department budget goals. able to direct multiple departments and personnel to ensure goals are achieved. Able to manage expectations of the team, address opportunities within the operation/personnel and provide feedback and coaching of opportunities. Full understanding of all aspects of the departments as well as upstream and downstream customer needs and processes. Provide clear direction to team members to develop them and build an internal pipeline. Ability to recognize a problem and assess its impact on the operation, including potential budget impacts. Responsible for multiple projects as well as communication of all process changes and vision to team, appropriate operations leaders, and customers. Ability to develop, manage and maintain communication on all weekly and monthly plans to the team within multiple departments and all levels of management. Engages with team members to ensure they have a clear understanding of how they contribute to the company’s mission, ultimately driving quality and commitment to the workplace.
