Music is the epicenter of my life. When I was 3-1/2, I first noodled around on a piano that was in our living room. Someone asked me to play, “Tammy”, which I did by ear. Little did I know how life would come full circle when I had the privilege of representing those songwriters during my tenures at Warner/Chappell Music, Famous Music and Sony/ATV. I landed the position of Creative Director/Standards Catalogue to develop new business for W/C's vast song catalogue. 18 months, 61 cover recordings and 12 album projects later, I knew I had found my passion and professional mission – to give the music and their creators a new audience and new monetary life by licensing their songs with major recording artists.As a Sr. Licensing Exec, I managed licensing protocol and negotiations for domestic and international deals for synchronization in the areas of: commercials, new media (mobile media, internet, computer games), and consumer products (apparel lines, wine and spirits, greeting cards, jewelry).
