The National Congenital Heart Walk Director is responsible for the vision and the day to day operations of the growing 2 million dollar fundraising event program that takes place in 30 major markets across the country.The Congenital Heart Walk (CHW) program is a partnership between The Children's Heart Foundation and the Adult Congenital Heart Association with the goal of raising awareness regarding congenital heart defects, building community and raising funds. Responsibilities include management of campaign activities, event budgets, fundraising activities and staff management. Also development and implementation of a three year strategic growth plan including identification of new markets, sponsorship, marketing and communications and fundraising.

Responsible for conceptualizing, developing, implementing, and evaluating Chapter Development and Walk programs. Also, providing leadership and management in the development and execution of fundraising plans and activities including Signature event Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida. In addition, providing technical assistance and guidance to Chapters on Chapter Management and Walk issues.

Development Director responsible for all activities in Carolinas Chapter (NC/SC) including implementation of diversified fundraising plans, education programs, finance, grant application, board and volunteer recruitment and cultivation.

Primary responsibility for $845,000 MS Walk Campaign. Promoted to Walk Manager in Oct. of 2004. Successfully organized 21 community walk fundraising events in NC/SC.

Promoted to Heart Walk Specialist in 1998. Created and implemented three year plan to increase revenue for walk fundraising event resulting in more than 300% growth.
