I answer the phones and greet visitors when they arrive. I acknowledge orders that come via email, fax or through the mail and enter the information into the purchase order via Profit 21 software. With each acknowledgement I verify the ship to address, the product number, quantity and the unit price. I also acknowledge the shipping information for the purchase order. Every day I enter outside sales representative reports onto a Excel sheet using Profit 21, the aging accounts receivable balance, previous days invoice amount and forward that to the CFO. I scan orders into Digi doc for the inside sales representatives.

I check patients in when they arrrive for their appointment. I verify their address, insurance information and update anything per patient in their computer chart. I also collect copayments and account balances. I also answer incoming calls scheduling new patients, confirming appointments or cancel and rescheduling appointments.

I entered the cash, checks and credit cards transactions from the day before into their General Ledger. I then prepared the cash deposit to be brought to the bank. I entered the checks through the computer for deposit. I relieved the receptionist for breaks and until the next receptionist arrived for work.

As the chair of the Closed Show Committee with Scandia Riders Saddle Club, I oversee all of the Closed Horse Shows for this club and the members. At the beginning of each year, I meet with the members of the committee. We discuss the dates for our closed shows, possible judges, review the show bill for possible deletions of classes or additions. We also discuss what type of awards will be given out. After that meeting(s), I contact our choice of judges and get confirmation as to who can do it and then negotiate a price. I then via Microsoft Word, change the show bill as needed. I also make sure there are enough ribbons for the shows. As the dates get closer, I solicit volunteers to help. The number needed is between six and twelve volunteers. I make sure the supplies that are needed are attained and on the day of the shows, I bring them to the grounds and get the place ready. During the show, I make sure there volunteers, the judge is there and answer questions from anyone. A concern for me during that time is safety; safety for horses and people. At the end, I collect the money, entry cards and pay the judge. After everyone has left, I close up the place. For the whole year, I also have to make sure expenses stay below the budget.

I manage the money for the horse saddle club. I pay bills online, deposit money, put together month reports and end of year reports.
