Performed full-cycle recruiting from sourcing, interviewing and presenting candidates to various hiring managers for light industrial, supervisory, and sales positions across multiple sites and locations across the country. Participated in all phases of the hiring process (assessment interpretation, drug screens, background, reference checks). Prepared and presented new employment offers to salaried and hourly employees.

Proactively posted internal positions for hiring managers using PeopleSoft. Participated in all phases of the hiring process (background and reference checks, education verifications, wage calculations, prepared and presented new employment offers to non-exempt and hourly associates). Quality checked hundreds of confidential documents related to new hires, benefits, status changes, performance and disciplinary issues in SolCom. Conducted special projects related to benefit coverage’s using Travis COBRA software. Provided back-up coverage as needed to other HR staff members.

Primary point of contact for associate related issues. Coordinated and conducted interviews for non-exempt positions. Conducted background checks. Researched, prepared and delivered associate disciplinary warnings. Prepared and evaluated associate attendance reports using Kronos time and attendance software. Consolidated and scanned new hire paperwork into electronic personnel files. Prepared and presented new employment offers.

Led recruitment efforts throughout the organization to maintain optimal staffing levels in the business areas of operations and administrative support. Efficiently prepared and completed the bi-weekly payroll for the organization. Successfully maintained internal equity within the organization through salary structure, thorough job analysis, and job evaluation systems. Developed and recommended operating policy and procedural improvements within my business division. Actively worked with Area Supervisors and other Managers to ensure timely and fair enforcement of the company’s progressive discipline policy. Worked with the company’s third party occupational provider in managing employee return to work cases. Prepared timely responses to unemployment claims. Organized successful employee events (safety picnic, holiday, retirement, and intern events).
