Health Leads is a national healthcare organization, providing a network of health care professionals and caregivers. The network was created to bring action-oriented practitioners together to collaborate, share and learn from each other to address systemic causes of inequity and disease.Long-term employee who was initially recruited as the Managing Director of Programs and was quickly promoted to Executive Director for the State of California.Responsibilities:- Expanded the organizations core service offering from one county to state wide coverage- Established 2 new additional programs including a 24 hour hotline and daily support groups providing educational information for individuals in crisis- Created the gap analysis to determine the service expansion requirements for all counties in the state- Managed a budget of $1.5M and a team of 12- Constructed the budget requirements for state expansion and the implementation calendar for the program rollout- Generated fundraising and earned revenue to support state wide expansion- Developed and implemented key metrics; measuring program impact- Promoted awareness of the state initiatives through social media, websites, newsletters and fact sheets- Served as the program advocate in California for events and public venues- Partnered with network members ensuring network retention and the implementation of services

The mission of BOSS is to help homeless, poor, and disabled people achieve health and self-sufficiency while fighting against the root causes of poverty and homelessness.Responsibilities:- Managed grant programs for the organization generating $500K in funding- Developed and maintained an in-depth understanding of donor compliance, and budget conditions and status- Reviewed, tracked, and analyzed expenditures for grants- Oversaw the planning, development, and facilitation of educational activities/curriculum, ensuring that only evidence-based, non-biased information was utilized- Provided direction, management, and overall leadership for staff management and volunteers- Monitored the tracking of deliverables, designated by the organizations work plans- Oversaw the training and supervision of community projects and personally trained hundreds of community members
