Responsible for all accounts payable bookkeeping functions including payroll management processes (including sub-contractors), filing bi-weekly payroll taxes, filing quarterly company taxes, sales and use tax filings monthly, account reconciliations, paying A/P invoices in a timely manner, company loans management, maintaining employee files and reporting new hires, all aspects of customer service daily via phone and in person, cash handling and daily deposits (as needed), creating and implementing numerous spreadsheets and reports for business owner, A/R collections, filing small claims suits, maintaing chart of accounts and vendors, responsible for all license renewals on vehicles including filing Heavy Use Taxes, processing yearly operating permit renewals, coordinating health insurance with agent yearly (AFLAC included), yearly business insurance policy renewal, Workmen Compensation compliance and coordination with insurance agent, assisting employees with Workmen Comp claims, month end tasks, year end collaboration with CPA, ordering or purchasing of office supplies and equipment and all general office duties. Proficient with Accounting Software Sage 50.
