Provide consultation support to collaborative projects within the healthcare sector, particularly in the area of mental health and addictions. Certified Master Trainer for Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and certified for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Basic training. Additionally, work with organizations to develop workshops to meet their staff needs in the areas of mental health and addictions, crisis and suicide prevention/intervention and responsive behaviours.

Originally hired by Saint Elizabeth, a not-for-profit and charitable home care and health care services company, as Manager of Crisis and Mental Health to supervise the Community Crisis Response Program for the North York and Etobicoke area and mental health nursing services in the GTA area. Promoted in 2008 to Director of Crisis Services overseeing all crisis service programs (Peel Region and North York/Etobicoke) and in 2012 took on the role of expanding mental health and addiction programming as Director of Community and Program Development through the development of partnerships and private and public funding sources.

Worked as a Community Crisis Worker and then promoted to coordinate the activities of the York Region Crisis Support Network. Supported partnerships among eighteen participating community agencies and health care facilities to provide short term supports for participating clients.

Contracted with companies and agencies to develop various grant proposals and funding resources as well as assistance in the formation of community partnerships.
