Contributes to the Northwest region volunteer network that currently supports 11 hosted international high students on their exchange program in the Washington and Oregon region; Organized and assisted orientations staggered throughout the program year for host students and their host family siblings to participate in informational sessions on personal safety, cultural adjustments, and reflection on personal development during program; Volunteer Liaison to one student to complete monthly check-ins on how they are doing in school, with their host family, school performance, and emotional well-being.Liaise with the student's host family to check-in on how they are doing with the hosted student's living arrangements, potential miscommunications, potential activities, rules of AFS program.
