I have a Ph.D. in Anthropology, post-doctoral training in Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy and 12 years as an academic at the University of Oregon, Eugene and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Colorado and have been in private practice in Texas and Colorado for 35 years. I am also a burn survivor. I specialize in working with trauma, using EMDR, EFT, Biofeedback and other cutting-edge techniques. I am semi-retired from counseling but still have a private practice in Huerfano County, CO. I am still available as a legal expert in the psycho-social effects of burn injuries. I am currently writing a book on Post-Traumatic Stress and treatment.
