Hey there!My name is Mary Crouse. I have been athletic my entire life, and wanted to understand how that transitioned into my adulthood once the performance opportunities ended and 'real life' began. I graduated from Troy University with a degree in Psychology and minor in Nutrition, had my son at 20, found the studio world at 21, and then continued a journey of trying to understand a healthy love of fitness and nutrition to put myself back together again. I am now in my early thirties and passionate about helping people feel their best, especially women that have lost themselves with careers, pregnancy, busy lives, or just unsure of their purpose. I had my second child at 29, and really felt the woes of never feeling I had time for myself or knowing how to take care of my body and spirit. It made me realized it's a daily battle so many of us working women and mothers face daily.In 2018 I opened 'Effin' Yoga' (formerly known as The Barre+Yoga Room) in Rincon, Georgia--a vinyasa inspired yoga and fitness studio and boutique. I am also a BEETTAN spray tan artist with other beauty offerings. I had a small studio on the Islands area of Savannah in 2016 and 2017, and when I moved to Effingham County, I realized the area needed a space to practice and very much needed a yoga community. It's been a beautiful journey through Covid and back with such an amazing group of yogis wanting to grow and pour into themselves--and I am forever grateful!I'm eager to grow my Linkedin network and have a place to share more informative postings about body and beauty than we usually share on Instagram and Facebook.Let's connect and chat <3Mary
