Oversaw advertising, placement and rebate claims processing and deduction management processes. Developed efficiencies to facilitate faster claim turn-around. Responsible for tens of millions of dollars in advertising and rebates related to home entertainment product. Created invaluable relationships with customers, licensors, vendors, and internal departments. Revised Trade Funds Management Policy to streamline claims processing and reduced exception approval requests. Point person for all auditing for advertising, placement and rebate expenses including participations and Sarbanes-Oxley audits. Pre-approved customer advertising to ensure ad adered to Fox policies.

Managed the Co-op Advertising department; oversaw third-party co-op claims auditing and processing vendor, reviewed and approved monthly co-op accruals, created and distributed customer monthly statements. Was instrumental in the RFP process and transitioning the co-op claims processing from internal processing to the third-party vendor. Successfully transitioned the commitment/deal processing system from the third-party vendor to the Siebel system.Prior to the transition to an outside processing vendor, I was responsible for auditing and processing co-op and MDF claims; working with sales and customers to reconcile trade marketing claims and deductions.Was thoroughly involved in the complete revision and upgrade of the internal co-op claims processing functions within the AS400 system.For three years, before it was transitioned into another group, in addition to managing co-op advertising I also managed Trade Advertising. As manager of Trade Advertising I booked advertising space, negotiated best advertising rates and best placement of BVHE trade ads. Worked closely with publications, internal marketing and creative services to ensure materials were delivered timely.

Began my career at Disney in the Character Buying Office in Consumer Products. I moved to Home Entertainment in 1989 and continued in Home Entertainment until 2006.
