I combine DNA with genealogy to find birth parents of adoptees and others with unknown parents. Oftentimes, I can find birth families in weeks or months.Finding birth families provides answers that give my clients peace of mind and closure. Many of my clients have been trying to solve their mysteries for decades—and even over multiple generations—such as when my client’s parents were adoptees. I have found dozens of people’s biological parents, grandparents, and more distant relatives.The vast majority of my clients have had successful reunions with their birth families. To help with this, I offer my clients resources for contacting them, since this can be difficult. I bring my experience as a patent attorney with extensive DNA experience to this work. Over 30 years ago, I began my scientific career. I developed DNA tests for transplant patients. This DNA knowledge helps me interpret my client's DNA results.I trained with CeCe Moore, who's a world expert in using DNA for adoption and unknown parentage work.
