Summer of 2015, I cycled 8,710km across Canada to raise $321,000 which works to the power of 10 with help from the Canadian Government for Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA)’s project Greater Rural Opportunities for Women (GROW). Founding the campaign, Bike to GROW taught me many valuable skills that make me an easily adaptable and incredibly valuable member of the team. Throughout the year of planning, I organized the day-by-day journey, developed and maintained a structured budget and trained with much dedication, as I wasn’t much of a cyclist before this great endeavor. During the three and a half months I spent cycling and presenting our goal of $150,000 across the country, I learned to communicate effectively with both, my teammate and with anyone who I was able to share the Bike to GROW campaign. Most recently I have completed my MBA program at Wilfrid Laurier and am moving back to Leamington to work as Vice President at Uni-Fab Custom Metal Fabricating.EducationMaster of Business- Strategic Management Specialization
